Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name, birth date, or other term entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its results. Jackson County Warrant Records does not keep or record those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email or contact submission may be retained long enough to review it and respond. Messages remain within the organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, the server may automatically receive routine technical information about the visit:
- Your device's assigned IP address
- Browser name and version
- Operating system and device category
- Pages viewed and approximate time spent
- A referring website, when one exists
- Date and time information for page requests
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on a device to support traffic analysis, such as identifying popular pages and points where visits end. Analytics providers combine this usage data for reporting. A browser can reject cookies, although doing so may change how some features behave.
What We Do With This Data
- Operating, maintaining, and improving site performance
- Routing a submitted query to the appropriate search partner
- Measuring which resources are useful to visitors
- Diagnosing errors and other technical problems
- Displaying advertising that may reflect visitor interests
No Warrant Data on File
Jackson County Warrant Records does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a warrant database or personal warrant files. It identifies official access routes, including the issuing district or circuit court, the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, Search ARCourts, and records requests under the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act (A.C.A. §25-19-105 and related provisions). Visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or dossiers about other people, and the site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Information submitted there is governed by the provider's privacy policy rather than this policy. Each provider controls its retention and disclosure practices, so review those terms before sending a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the Jackson County sheriff, Arkansas court portals, legal resources, or outside search providers. Once a visitor follows an external link, the destination's privacy terms control. Review them before providing personal information.
Advertising providers may use their own systems to measure activity across websites and select interest-based advertisements.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be available to:
- Outside search providers processing a submitted query
- Analytics vendors measuring traffic and performance
- Advertising networks serving advertisements
- Government or law-enforcement bodies acting under a valid legal order
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable, commonly used safeguards protect information collected by the site. No internet service can guarantee complete security, however, and a breach or unauthorized access cannot be ruled out.
Users Under 18
The service is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If information from a minor is identified, a request may be made for its deletion.
Your Data Rights
Rights may vary under Arkansas privacy and consumer-protection law. The Arkansas Freedom of Information Act (A.C.A. §25-19-105 and related provisions) governs access to qualifying public records, not private visitor analytics. Subject to applicable law, you may:
- Request access to personal information held about you
- Ask that inaccurate information be corrected
- Seek deletion of eligible personal information
- Object to certain processing where a right applies
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised as practices or legal duties change. A revised version will be posted here with its effective date, and continued use will be governed by the version then displayed.
